These Advertising Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of JobJe’s advertising services. By creating an employer account, posting job advertisements, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. JobJe is operated by Agensi Pekerjaan CityRecruit Sdn Bhd (527763-M).
1. Application of These Terms
These Terms apply when you:
- Create or try to create an employer account with us.
- Have or access an employer account with us.
- Post or try to post a job advertisement (“ad”) on JobJe.
- Use or try to use any of our other employer-related products and services.
These Terms apply to both you as an individual and any company or organisation you represent.
2. Prohibited Activities
JobJe is committed to maintaining a safe and ethical and socially responsible job portal. You are strictly prohibited from:
- Posting scams or misleading job opportunities.
- Human trafficking or exploitation of individuals.
- Advertising overseas job postings outside Malaysia and Singapore.
- Promoting online trading, cryptocurrency, forex, online gambling, or any other illegal business activity.
- Requesting payments from job seekers as a condition for employment.
JobJe reserves the right to take immediate action, including suspending or terminating services and account access, without prior notice, for violations of these terms. No refunds will be provided for breaches of these guidelines.
3. Job Advertisement Posting Guidelines
- Each advertisement must be for one (1) specific job position.
- Advertisements can be posted in English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Chinese.
- Advertisements must not demonstrate preference towards a particular gender, age group, or race.
- Advertisements must not contain profanity or obscenities.
- Advertisements must not advertise services including training.
- Job advertisements will remain live for one (1) month, except for Starter Ad plans, which will remain active for the number of days purchased.
- JobJe reserves the right to refuse to publish any advertisement at its sole discretion.
4. Payment Terms
- We operate on a credit-based system. Employers must purchase credits to post job advertisements.
- Payment for credits is required immediately upon purchase.
- We accept payments via credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
- All charges are exclusive of taxes, including Sales and Services Tax (SST) in Malaysia, which you are responsible for.
- All payments are considered final and are non-refundable.
5. Account Management
- JobJe may suspend or terminate any account, or refuse to create an account, at our sole discretion.
- JobJe may suspend accounts deemed to be against our interests or policies.
- In the event of account suspension or termination, you are liable for all outstanding fees.
6. Use License
- You may temporarily download one copy of materials from JobJe for personal, non-commercial viewing only.
- You may not modify, copy, use for commercial purposes, decompile, remove copyright notices, or transfer materials.
- This license terminates if you violate these restrictions.
7. Disclaimer
- Materials on JobJe are provided “as is” without warranties.
- JobJe does not warrant the accuracy, results, or reliability of materials.
8. Governing Law
- You are responsible for complying with your country’s employment laws.
- Any claim relating to JobJe shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
9. Changes to These Terms
JobJe may change these Terms at any time by providing notice to you. Your continued use of the services after the changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
10. Refund Policy
Refund is restricted to overpayment or redundant payment caused by technical related glitch during the payment process. If in case of refund, the Service that you purchased may be cancelled, and such cancellation takes effect within the next 5 working days through original method of payment. In the event that your account is found involved in any fraudulent transaction(s), we reserve the right at our sole discretion to temporarily suspend your Account.
