Powerweld Sdn Bhd was first established in 1985 to manufacture SMAW electrodes. In 2008, Powerweld Sdn Bhd joined Leeden Group and was subsequently rebranded as Leeden Powerweld Sdn Bhd in 2014. After Leeden Group became a member of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD), one of the largest industrial gas manufacturers in Japan, Leeden Powerweld began to export its welding products to NSHD’s related companies.
