Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot barcodes for issues like smudging, misprints, or unreadable labels
- Correct or reprint barcodes as necessary, ensuring accuracy and readability
- Collaborate with production and scanning teams to resolve barcode-related issues
- Ensure all items have the correct, legible barcode in accordance with company standards
- Maintain records of barcode fixes and report to quality control teams
- Provide support for barcode software and scanning equipment when needed
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for barcode labeling and scanning
Job Requirements:
- High school, diploma, or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is a plus
- Experience with barcode technology and inventory systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with barcode printing and scanning equipment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
