Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking dishes according to restaurant standards
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations
• Support the Head Chef in menu planning and food inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety regulations
• Monitor and store food supplies properly to ensure freshness
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff and maintaining kitchen discipline
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role in an F&B establishment
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety
• Strong teamwork, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
