Job Responsibilities:
- Procurement Operations

Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing procurement activities according to company needs and budget.

Review purchase requests, verify specifications, and ensure accurate documentation.

Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival.

- Supplier Management

Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.

Assist in supplier negotiations for pricing, contracts, and payment terms.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.

- Cost & Quality Control

Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of goods to achieve cost efficiencies.

Ensure all purchased goods meet required quality and safety standards.

Work with relevant departments to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.

- Compliance & Documentation

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and reports.

Assist with internal and external audits related to procurement.

- Team Support & Coordination

Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Provide guidance and support to junior purchasing staff when required.

Act as the Procurement Manager’s representative in their absence.
