Roles & Responsibilities
Stock Controller (SC)
The SC reports to the respective Managers in our warehouses in Lim Chu Kang, Neo Tiew and Tai Seng.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager to track the day-to-day Stock inventory movement activities and services of the various types of eggs.
- Monitoring and tracking the daily overall stock count and movement in and out of the warehouse, transfers to and from drivers, and any wastage.
- Ensuring that all stock movement, recording, and documentation adhere to standard operating procedures prescribed.
Duties:
- Compile and verify daily documentation and records of stock order inputs/received, inter-departmental transfers, production output records, and physical stock take report/s.
- Work closely with Warehouse and Production staff to reconcile stock count and identify any variances.
- Submit monthly variance reports with findings and recommendations to management.
- Create daily transfer orders (TO) for the movement of stock in/out of the warehouse, and routes, ie: for vans’ stock loading.
- Compute daily production waste and investigate causes of wastage.
- Consolidate and submit source documents and records for Finance’s verification and processing.
- Assist Manager to compile and submit monthly procurement requests/orders on packaging/processing and office/warehouse items.
- Handle basic office administration.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC in Logistics Services or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in a similar industry.
- Good knowledge of logistics, transportation, and best industry practices.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in MS office eg: Word, and Excel.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
- Saturday: 8.30 am to 12.00 pm
- 2 vacancies @ Lim Chu Kang, 1 vacancy @ Neo Tiew, 1 vacancy @ Tai Seng
- Transport is provided at Kranji MRT Station for vacancies in Lim Chu Kang and Neo Tiew warehouses.
- In-house lunch is also provided in Lim Chu Kang and Neo Tiew warehouses.
- Our warehouse in Tai Seng is within walking distance to the Tai Seng MRT Station
