Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Executive / Executive – Communications & Partnership is responsible for the development and execution of:
- Community engagement plans for beneficiaries in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and
- Internal and external publications and communications for the centre
He/she will support the department in key domains including events, donor and volunteer management.
Job Responsibilities
Community Engagement
- Strategize and develop impactful programmes leading to the holistic integration and normalization of beneficiaries’ lives
- Oversee and anchor the implementation of the community hub and café/minimart initiative
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external community partners in fulfilling community engagement projects
- Build up a strong community culture among beneficiaries and external stakeholders
Publications and Communications
- Oversee and develop external publications and centre-level resources, including annual reports, articles, standard operating procedures, protocols
- Manage internal communications and corporate paraphernalia ranging from notice boards, presentations, corporate video, corporate gifts
- Coordinate and correspond with Corporate Services and external agencies on media-related matters such as media consent forms, interviews, filming, award nominations
- Handle and attend to external visits, feedback and public relations
Volunteer, Donor and Events Management
- Support the department in the volunteer management and related activities
- Support the department in donor management and relations
- Support the organizing of key centre-wide events through collaborations with internal departments and external agencies
Administrative and Other Work
- Support in the preparation of departmental plans, reports and related admin work
- Participate in key strategic meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide coverage in the absence of Executive – CP
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Centre
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social sector or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
- Those with more relevant years of experience will be considered for the position of Senior Executive
