Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Dolphin care and husbandry; feeding, handling, observation, enrichment, conditioning and training.
• Perform guest interaction programs.
• Support veterinary procedures.
• Maintenance of enclosures.
• Data recording and reports.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of workplace, tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years’ work experience in a marine mammal facility or equivalent will be preferred.
• Possess SCUBA certification of Open Water and above.
• Candidates with no relevant experience or scuba certification, but willing to obtain certification may also apply.
• Confident to work in an aquatic environment.
• Animal husbandry knowledge and passion to work with animals.
• Possess good verbal communication skills.
• Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
• Candidates are required to lift 15kg of weight and heavy equipment.
