Job Details

Responsibilities:

· Collect blood specimens from patients in a timely manner

· Manage blood specimens to minimize degradation before sending to laboratory

· Observe infection control practices while executing the above.

· Assist in the documentation (patients’ information) associated with blood collection

· Assist in the dispatching of blood specimens to the laboratory

· Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

· Minimum Certificate in Nursing/ Phlebotomy

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience as a phlebotomist

· Independent as well as a team player

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized and meticulous
