Bread Packer Job Description:
- Perform his/her work as part of a high performing team and to be able to work independently.
- Respect and carry out orders.
- Responsible for stringent quality control procedures.
- Maintaining a clean working environment at all times.
- Cleaning equipment, production areas and front of house.
- Following ordering procedures.
- Following cross check and HACCP procedures.
- Sharing knowledge, helping team members as and when required packing team must follow numbers on the packing sheets provided by head baker a day in advance.
- Ticking off items on the list as you go
- Packers are expected to work both independently and as part of a team to assist the bakers with daily prep, but are not expected to handle dough or assist in bread production.
- They should keep the kitchen equipment and production areas at a high standard of cleanliness.
- Be in good physical condition and be able to be on their feet for long hours as well as lift/push at least 20kg of weight.
- Familiarise and see product chart for image reference of each SKU.
- Oversee the inventory of the packaging and request to order as needed
Job Requirements:
- Able to start work at 5am
- Able to work on weekends
- Shift hours
- At least 1 Year(s) of experience packing is preferred
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
- Proactive, attention to details, dependable, team player and good communication skills
