Position Summary:

Responsible for executing the daily assignment to support the day-to-day business operations in the respective outlet within the Park Operations or Commercial Operations. You are expected to provide excellent guest services at the Admission, Attractions, Food & Beverage, Retail and providing back-end support for Events & Entertainment:

Scope and Responsibilities:

Admission

  • Liaison with General Admissions/Guest Services Lead to resolve any issues pertaining to ticketing or entry through turnstile.
  • Assists guests at the turnstiles – operating the Disabled Access when necessary and assisting guests with strollers. Liaison with General Admissions/Guest Services Lead to resolve any ticket errors at the turnstiles.
  • Processing of Annual Passes Redemptions, Day Tickets and sales at the counter.
  • To perform opening and closing routines for the department as defined by the operating procedures, including cashing in and out.
  • To act as a VIP host by accompanying the guest for a VIP Expedition Experience in the Park whenever required.
  • To assist the Sales Department on road shows at respective areas assigned.
  • To perform any related work as deemed necessary or required.

Education

  • To run the educational program at Mindstorm at the maximum capacity for walk-in guests and bookings received from Education Sales personnel.
  • Act as a liaison between teachers and LLM Educational Sales personnel on the reservation/arrangement made.
  • To work closely with the Reservation/Hotline Associate for bookings and reservation in order to make the necessary preparation.
  • To perform any related work as deemed necessary or required.

Attractions

  • Operates rides at the maximum capacity while making sure to do it in the safest way possible which also includes in-door attractions.
  • Records attraction hourly counts and hourly wait times.
  • Follows departmental safety and ride procedures at all times and able to perform basic ride evacuation.
  • Helps guests while entering and exiting on/off rides/attractions while assuring guest safety at all times.
  • Handle guests’ enquiries.
  • Reports any problems, faults, or safety issues to the supervisory team. Is trained in handling hygienic waste using chemicals and equipment provided.

Events & Entertainment

  • You will be an usher to navigate crowd and to ensure a quick and efficient entry and exit at each City Stage and Castle Stage facilities.
  • Interact with the guest by initiating conversation with them.
  • Entertains guests and promotes LEGOLAND Malaysia on a daily basis throughout the park and at periodic off- site special events as a Walking Character.
  • Aids in creating an atmosphere of anticipation before each show and acts as a link between cast and audience.
  • Encourages participation from and facilitates interaction between audience and cast.
  • Provides park information as requested by Guests. Maintains a stock of Park Guides and Show guides.
  • Able to handle show sequence and hosting a show from time-to time.
  • To perform any related work as deemed necessary or required.

Food & Beverage

  • Serve and clear Food & Beverage Offerings in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
  • Clears trays, plates, cutleries and cups and reset table in a professional manner.
  • To up sell the In House product by suggesting it to the guest.
  • Responsible to follow the LEGOLAND policies and procedures regarding proper sanitation and cleanliness standards.
  • To handle the micros point of sales to ensure the billing is according to the consumption of the guest.
  • To handle the float money with care.
  • To exchange the small notes of cash before operation start with the cash office.
  • Any discrepancy of shortages in float money will be responsible by the assign cashier.
  • To review the credit card identity procedure in order to identify originality and to avoid fraud credit card.
  • To adhere to the Cash Handling Policy & Procedure.
  • To perform any related work as deemed necessary or required.

Retail

  • Greets and acknowledges each guest. Works to ensure that each guest experience is personalized by assessing and assisting with the needs of each guest.
  • Obtains payments by processing cash, checks, sales discounts and credit cards.
  • Prices merchandise by stamping, marking and tagging in line with policies and procedures.
  • Promotes sales through excellent service, product knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maintains high standard of store presentation through effective and timely stock replenishment, and adherence to visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Ensures store maintenance, safety and security at all times.
  • To perform related work as deemed necessary or required.

Background and Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year of operations experience in Theme Park/Amusement Park.
  • Competent in communication verbal & written in English.
  • Experienced in guest services.
  • Requires excellent skills in managing Galaxy (Revenue system), Cash Handling etc.
  • Experienced in handling guest situations related to queries, dissatisfaction, lost & found etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and eye for details.
  • Ability to multi task and effective time management skill.

Education:

  • SPM Leavers, graduates of high school or other equivalent level of education.

Additional Information:

  • Malaysian.
  • Fully vaccinated (Booster Dose).
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.
