Position Summary:
Electrical Technician is responsible to carry out the maintenance works including repairing, trouble-shooting, inspection, preventive maintenance for the electrical equipment in LLMR. You will be required to offer help, guide and support the other technicians in completing the assignment delegated. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standard. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the department objectives.
Scope and Responsibilities:
· Monitor job to ensure quality and compliances to job standards.
· Perform duties of specific trades when necessary.
· Read and interpret blueprint and wiring diagram.
· Coordinate activities of other trades areas with outside contractors.
· Maintain record of jobs performed departmental charge codes and hours worked.
· Perform Daily Pre-Operational Safety & Maintenance Inspections on Rides and Electrical equipment.
· Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspection and preventive maintenance towards electrical systems.
· Inspection includes testing, verification and/or calibration of applicable electrical systems.
· Respond to Ride calls during operating hours and make repairs as required.
· Diagnosis system failures and provide immediate and corrective actions.
· Researches defective electrically-controlled items/parts and instructional information to complete the repair process when needed.
· Troubleshoots by referring to technical manuals and while utilizing a systematic approach
· Input in log books/checklist/daily-report; completion of inspections, corrective action, and/or repairs, rectification made.
· Give feedback or an idea to improve Department Risk Assessment (RA), ensure to fill up Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) form when needed/necessary.
Background and Experience:
· Fresh graduate or with some experience in electrical maintenance or internship experience in the related field is preferable.
· Knowledge in electrical tools, equipment and materials common to the electrical trade.
· Knowledge about electrical codes, standards and regulations.
· Ability to communicate (verbal and written).
· Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Education:
Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Certificate in Wireman PW2 or Malaysian Skill Certificate (SKM@MSC 1/2/3/4/5).
Additional Information:
· Malaysian.
· Fully vaccinated (including Booster).
· Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.
