Job Summary:

We are hiring a Security Officer for HABIB Group. This role is pivotal in ensuring the protection and well-being of our premises, employees, and visitors. This role involves a range of responsibilities from maintaining surveillance to implementing safety protocols, with opportunities for growth and development within our security department.

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, your duties will include:

  • Adherence to the Employee Schedule Record for duty assignments.
  • Participation in briefing sessions during shift mounting and debriefing before sign-off.
  • Assisting in premises operations, safeguarding guests, employees, and assets against threats and criminal activities.
  • Implementing and promoting Safety & Security awareness programs among employees.
  • Enforcing Emergency, Safety, and Security Regulations on-site.
  • Collaborating with local authorities and aiding individuals requiring assistance.
  • Managing entry passes for contractors, visitors, and vendors.
  • Screening incoming and outgoing items for safety and validity.
  • Conducting spot checks on employees and performing bag inspections.
  • Securing exits/entrances and ensuring proper waste management practices.
  • Familiarization with Building Emergency Procedures and ensuring adherence.
  • Conducting crowd/traffic control to maintain a smooth flow.
  • Escorting cashiers and maintaining surveillance in common areas.
  • Enforcing company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Regulations.
  • Upholding professionalism and high-security standards.

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Ability to discreetly monitor and handle suspicious situations courteously.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, oral communication).
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • Minimum 2 years of related industry/building services experience (preferred but not mandatory).
