MAINTENANCE & PRODUCTION OPERATOR ( JURONG WEST, SINGAPORE )

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Read and follow job orders.
- Determine the required Qty to meet daily output.
- Prepare and set up machines for production – clean, checking etc.
- Ensure to carry out machine operation and maintained in good and safe working condition.
- Control and run the machine to the fullest extent.
- Being able to identify any faults or problems in operations or maintenance of machines and troubleshoot arising issues.
- Inspect the machine outputs for process and quality control.
- Provide detailed reports and logs on the work done daily.
- Keep up with safety requirements and maintain the safe work setting at all times.
- Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed.
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment.
- Others Operational job related to Plant inclusive of debagging activities and Packing lime products in 25kg HL and jumbo bags is part of job scope.
Physical fitness and Skill:
- Machine operators should be physically fit since long operational hours can be required. Must be able to work Overtime.
- Ability to work as a team: good communication is important for working with others on the daily job.
- Machine operators should be comfortable working in a team.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum secondary education or relevant experience.
- Relevant experience above 2 years; on the job training available.
- Industries working experience, preferably with basic Plant Maintenance knowledge with previous job itself involves some aspect of the manufacturing process.
- Basic knowledge in PC.
- Basic knowledge of electrical is added advantage to it and practical skills (working knowledge) in general maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to do repetitive tasks; detail-oriented; understanding of industry and safety standards.
- Forklift handling skill is preferable with (License/Certification).
- Training in safety techniques and requirements will be provided.
- Training with handling of forklift Operation will be provided.
- Practical (on-the-job) training (required most of the times) will be provided.
