Roles & Responsibilities

Role

Responsible for preparing a wide variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and sweet goods. Create new and enticing recipes, decorate pastries to ensure beautiful presentation, and maintain the quality of ingredients and equipment.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing and developing pastry items such as cakes, cookies, desserts, bread from varying cultural traditions.
  • Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high quality, well-presented pastry items to our customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery section that adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
  • Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum culinary certificate or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Innovative, creative, enthusiastic, dedicated, ambitious, reliable
  • Fun, have a sense of humor
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
