Roles & Responsibilities
Role
Responsible for preparing a wide variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and sweet goods. Create new and enticing recipes, decorate pastries to ensure beautiful presentation, and maintain the quality of ingredients and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and developing pastry items such as cakes, cookies, desserts, bread from varying cultural traditions.
- Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high quality, well-presented pastry items to our customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery section that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends.
Requirements
- Minimum culinary certificate or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Innovative, creative, enthusiastic, dedicated, ambitious, reliable
- Fun, have a sense of humor
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
