CLIMBING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
The Climbing Gym Crew receives customers at the service counter, establishes types of membership, sells gym passes, offers climbing gear including harness and shoes. He/She briefs parents with young children 5 years old and below of the compulsory accompany of the parent (with max 2 children) throughout the climbing session. He/She operates the POS system to record customers' check in/out and sale transactions.
He/She conducts safety briefings for all first-time climbers, go on safety rounds regularly during the shift. As part of the duties, he/she has to keep the gym floor, locker rooms, shoe racks and crew rest area in a clean and tidy condition including vacuuming the gym floor, tidying the climbing ropes before the gym closes for the day.
He/She may be assigned to one of the four gyms at i12 Katong, Kallang Wave Mall, Funan Mall, Novena Square Velocity or Choa Chu Kang SAFRA on a rotation basis including weekends and public holidays. Each shift is 8.5 hours on a 5-day week or 11 hours on a 4-day week or a maximum of 44 hours a week excluding non-paid breaks.
Applicants with climbing experience and excellent spoken and written English will be considered. Gym Crew who displayed excellent performance in customer service, sales skills and leadership traits may be shortlisted for Asst DO and DO training.
