Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with staff from the manufacturing, quality, design, and shipping departments to optimize package design.
• Oversee the design of finished product packaging and crating, ensuring compliance with customer-specific crating and marking requirements.
• Manage the design of raw materials to meet technical specifications, including cleanroom compatibility.
• Test packaging systems and components for both new and existing products.
• Utilize 3D modeling software to extract key design and weight requirements for packaging.
• Research and introduce prototype packaging suitable for semiconductor capital equipment and associated components/assemblies.
• Draft specifications for new packaging materials that will adequately protect finished products.
• Serve as a technical interface with packaging suppliers (USA and Asia) who provide packaging materials to the company and its suppliers.
• Work closely with new product development teams to identify specialty packaging needs.
• Maintain, update, and release cleanroom packaging and crating specifications.
• Act as the point of contact for the company's packaging suppliers and approve packaging designs as needed.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of packaging materials and design, particularly in cleanroom and semiconductor equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or a related field required.
