Job Details

Responsibilities:

a) Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program

• Create and execute a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment breakdowns and optimize production efficiency

b) Manage maintenance team

• Recruit, train, and lead a skilled maintenance team to effectively address equipment issues and repairs

c) Oversee maintenance activities

• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols

d) Budget management

• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and resource allocation

e) Equipment reliability

• Monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

e) Spare parts inventory

• Manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and optimize costs

f) Continuous improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity

g) Vendor management

• Manage relationships with external maintenance service providers and contractors

h) Reporting

• Prepare and analyze maintenance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost analysis

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
