Key Responsibilities:

  • Live Streaming & Product Promotion: The main duty is to host live streaming sessions, where the host introduces, demonstrates, emphasizing product benefits and features and promotes products to viewers. Offering special discounts, deals, and giveaways to attract customers during the live sessions.
  • Engagement: Interact with viewers in real-time, answer questions, and respond to comments to create a lively, engaging experience.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging, entertaining, and informative content that aligns with the brand’s identity and product offerings. Preparing scripts if needed.
  • Audience Building: Grow and maintain a loyal following on TikTok by creating consistent live streaming schedules and promotional content.
  • Sales Integration: Use TikTok’s native shopping features or affiliate links to drive product sales directly from the live stream.
  • Product Demonstrations: Showcase products creatively, providing detailed information and showcasing how they work.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure the brand’s values and guidelines are adhered to in every live session.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required; however, a background in marketing, communication, or media studies is an advantage.
  • Experience: Typically, 1-2 years in a sales, marketing, or content creation role is preferred but not mandatory. Experience as a social media influencer or a live stream host can significantly boost a candidate's profile.
  • Experience in Sales or E-commerce: A background in sales, retail, or e-commerce is preferred, as you will need to sell products and engage viewers in real-time.
  • Charisma and On-Camera Presence: Strong verbal communication skills and a confident, engaging, and entertaining personality are essential for keeping the audience engaged during live streams.
  • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms (especially TikTok, Shopee, or Lazada) and understanding their audience and functionalities is crucial.
  • Product Knowledge: Must be able to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and usage of the products being promoted.
  • Live Streaming Experience: While not mandatory, prior experience in live streaming or hosting (either on TikTok or similar platforms) is a significant advantage.
  • Tech Savviness: Comfortable using live streaming equipment and software, including knowledge of streaming platforms and interactive features (chat, product links, polls, etc.).
  • Creativity: Ability to come up with creative ways to showcase products, engage viewers, and keep the stream dynamic.
  • Strong Communication and Interaction Skills: Ability to engage in real-time conversation, respond to questions, and entertain viewers while maintaining professionalism.
  • Sales Ability: Skills in influencing consumer behaviour, promoting sales, and closing deals live.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work with brands, sellers, and marketing teams to meet campaign goals and execute live stream promotions effectively.

Additional Duties:

  • Brand Collaboration & Marketing: Partnering with brands to ensure that live streams align with marketing goals, product launches, and sales events.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Analyze live stream performance, including sales data, engagement metrics, and feedback to improve future sessions.
