We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Sushi Bar Helper to assist our sushi chefs in daily operations. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth workflow in the sushi bar while following food safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist sushi chefs with ingredient preparation, such as cutting vegetables and preparing rice
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar, including workstations and utensils
• Ensure fresh ingredients are properly stored and available for use
• Help with plating and presenting sushi dishes according to restaurant standards
• Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, cutting boards, and sushi equipment
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly
• Assist in receiving and stocking supplies as needed
• Provide support to chefs during busy hours to ensure smooth operations

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or sushi bar is a plus but not required
• Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
• Strong teamwork and willingness to learn sushi preparation techniques
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle kitchen tasks
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
