A Service Crew member provides excellent customer service, takes orders, serves food and drinks, and ensures a positive experience for customers. They work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the overall operation of the restaurant or food service area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the system
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on tables and addressing any needs
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with setting up and cleaning the dining area before, during, and after service
- Handle cash or card transactions and process payments correctly
- Follow health and safety rules to ensure food safety and cleanliness
- Collaborate with kitchen and other crew members to ensure smooth service
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays or dishes
