Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the team to perform at their best
- Deliver an exceptional Nando’s experience to customers
- Manage schedules, monitor stock levels, and anticipate team needs for smooth operations
- Plan manpower requirements, manage recruitment, and identify training opportunities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and legally compliant restaurant, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Oversee waste management, recycling, and energy efficiency within the restaurant
- Control costs while improving customer experience
- Drive sales across all channels and grow the restaurant sustainably
- Manage operating costs to enhance profitability and performance
- Execute local and national marketing plans to drive sales and attract new customers
- Evaluate and control key financial metrics such as gross profit, wastage, and maintenance expenses
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Align the team with the restaurant’s vision and goals, keeping them engaged and motivated
- Recognize and support team members to foster a positive work environment
- Perform other assigned tasks as required
Job Requirements:
- Preferably a Restaurant Manager specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent
- Minimum qualification: Secondary School/SPM/O-Level or Diploma/Degree in Food & Service Management
- Strong passion for food preparation and customer service, with a commitment to delivering a great dining experience
- Strong leadership skills, proactive problem-solving ability, and result-oriented mindset
- Effective time management, delegation, and ability to interpret financial data (Profit & Loss) to make informed decisions
- Humble, open to learning, and willing to listen to feedback
- Ability to develop and mentor others, demonstrating natural leadership and motivation
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with all levels of staff and customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
