Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Chinese kitchen team
- Plan and prepare authentic Chinese dishes with high quality
- Ensure food presentation, taste, and hygiene meet standards
- Create menus and control food cost and inventory
- Train kitchen staff and maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments for banquet or event needs
Job Requirements:
- Citizenship: Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) only
- Expertise: Strong proficiency in Chinese cooking techniques
- Experience: Background in hotels or convention centers
- Work Environment: Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
- Regulations & Safety:
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Understanding of food sanitation standards
