Work independently on tender and post-tender contract administration, primarily for commercial office fit-outs, lab fit-outs, hospitals, and cleanrooms
Job Responsibilities:
Tender Management:
- Liaise with clients and consultants on tender queries.Analyze tender documents, drawings, and contract conditions
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BQ)
- Source and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
- Coordinate with internal teams for design and documentation
- Handle tender follow-ups, addendums, and negotiations
Project & Contract Administration:
- Manage construction contracts and variations
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and regulations
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost control
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
- Work closely with project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
- 3 years experience in construction (preferably labs & offices)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts & cost management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
