Job Type: Contract (12 months)
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials and ensure compliance with standards
- Handle supplier issues and follow up on corrective actions (CPAR)
- Conduct lab tests to ensure paint quality before production
- Collaborate with R&D on new formulations and product development
- Establish standards and maintain quality control documentation
- Research and improve testing methods for accuracy
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper testing tools functionality
- Train QA inspectors and enhance QC personnel efficiency
- Participate in ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 procedures and audits
- Assist in color matching development and other assigned tasks
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in the paint or relevant chemical industry is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in QMS ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and statistical skills are an added advantage
- Must not have color blindness
