Job Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for projects
- Prepare and manage tender documents, including cost analysis, price comparisons, and quotations
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and contract terms
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier performance
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
- Assist in evaluating and selecting new suppliers to optimize project costs and quality
- Ensure compliance with project budgets and financial regulations
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or a similar role (preferably in interior design/construction)
- Skilled in sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services
- Experience in pre-tender/post-tender work (e.g., tender prep, cost analysis, price comparison)
- Strong negotiation skills for securing the best prices and terms
- Ability to maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory
- Good coordination with project managers and teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance
- Assist in evaluating and selecting new suppliers
