Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in preparing and arranging food
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and orderly, including washing dishes, utensils, and maintaining hygiene
  • Prepare and cook high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes
  • Maintain day-to-day operational standards of the kitchen
  • Manage own kitchen section during service
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Ensure high levels of performance within the kitchen team
  • Prepare reports, including recording food temperatures
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances in good working condition
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and food storage areas
  • Promote effective teamwork and communication with colleagues across departments
  • Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by Management

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with a variety of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
