Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and arranging food
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and orderly, including washing dishes, utensils, and maintaining hygiene
- Prepare and cook high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes
- Maintain day-to-day operational standards of the kitchen
- Manage own kitchen section during service
- Take responsibility for all aspects of kitchen operations
- Ensure high levels of performance within the kitchen team
- Prepare reports, including recording food temperatures
- Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances in good working condition
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and food storage areas
- Promote effective teamwork and communication with colleagues across departments
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by Management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with a variety of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
