We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at CHAR KUE TIAU OYSTER TABASCO' in Wakaf Che Yeh Kelantan!

As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef and overseeing the kitchen operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Malaysian and international dishes to the highest standards
  • Ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the kitchen, including inventory management, menu planning, and staff supervision
  • Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborating with the team to develop new and innovative menu items
  • Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to junior kitchen staff

Who we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian and international cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Certification in food safety and hygiene
