Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate sales-related activities and foster client relationships through market research and product knowledge
• Responsible for selling a variety of chemicals (solvent products, lubricants, and additives) used across industries such as analytical, coating, pharmaceutical, life science, and bioanalytical research
• Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to engage potential sales outlets
• Follow up on customer inquiries via email and phone for company products
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to HOD or Management
• Act as an extension of the sales force to handle chemical sales activities in collaboration with customer service/QA QC teams for pre-shipment samples and customer approvals
• Coordinate with the sales team for marketing activities, participate in project support activities, and contribute to discussions, presentations, and reports
• Prepare sales quotations and monthly sales reports
• Liaise with logistics for shipment status and track delivery updates
• Follow up with customers for after-sales feedback and product quality reports
• Handle payment collection and follow-ups
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in customer relations/services, preferably in a manufacturing background
• Good personality, organized, and able to work as a liaison between sales and inter-departments
• Experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
• Meticulous, service-oriented, with strong multitasking and project support skills
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Possess own transportation
