Position: R&D Executive (Food Industry)

Job Responsibilities:

(A) New Product Development

• Propose and develop new products based on marketing survey reports and market trend analysis
• Actively contribute to the company’s new product blueprint
• Collaborate with customers on all activities related to new product development
• Work closely with ingredient specialists to develop new recipes and SOPs for production
• Coordinate with Laboratory & QA teams to arrange microbiological shelf life testing before product launch
• Lead and coordinate production team training during the trial run phase of new products
• Collaborate with artwork and labelling specialists for new product packaging

(B) Continuous Improvement Programme

• Periodically review SKU performance and analyze customer feedback
• Prepare monthly product improvement reports covering aesthetics, taste, aroma, shelf life, and pricing
• Participate in daily production operations to identify new ideas for improving efficiency and product quality

(C) Market Survey & Benchmarking

• Conduct both online and onsite market surveys for benchmarking exercises
• Participate in meetings with customers and suppliers
• Source and analyze market trends and insights from social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, blogs, and more
