Position: Chef De Partie / Assistant Chef
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production fulfillment in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with daily raw material preparation
- Conduct daily kitchen inspections and follow up with detailed reports and planning
- Manage all aspects of food preparation including ingredient prep, weighing, cleaning, and machinery setup according to SOPs
- Participate in the full kitchen process—from preparation to final products ready for shipment
- Plan and monitor kitchen manpower and work schedules
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards; make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment following all rules and regulations
- Comply with local health and safety regulations
- Handle product complaints and respond to ad-hoc issues swiftly and effectively
- Perform other duties or projects assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a central kitchen production role
- Skilled in various cooking techniques and operating kitchen equipment
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset
- Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about high-quality food and creative presentation
- Disciplined, diligent, and a team player willing to share and learn
- Willing to work 6-day shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and public holidays when required
- Ability to adapt to changes and rise to new challenges
