Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Operating the cash register accurately and efficiently to process customer purchases
- Handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area
- Assisting customers with inquiries and providing information about products and services
- Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Collaborating with the wider retail team to contribute to the overall success of the store
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service-oriented role
- Strong numerical and money handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- A friendly, helpful, and professional demeanour
