Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers and subcontractors
• Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Assist to set up work procedures and functions of the department and implementation the whole process for procurement activities (Sourcing, expedite and follow up)
• Assist to set-up AVL (Approved Vendor List) and SEC (Supplier Evaluation Committee)
• Assist for arrangement of vendor contracts, bargains for best costs, arranges delivery schedules and observes quality of purchased materials
• Monitors and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time
• Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
• Trains, develops and motivate all direct subordinates in the Purchasing section
• Communication with subcontractors pertaining issues in Environmental & other tasks as specified in the Quality, Environmental or safety & Health management System
• All other related duties and job responsibilities that are assigned to you by your superiors

Job Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or degree in accounting, business administration and etc
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Preferably accounting or business administration background
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with good knowledge of supplier management and selection, manufacturing processes, commodities, pricing and cost analysis
• Basic knowledge in accounting system is a plus
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Able to read and write in Mandarin is an advantage
