Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and reliability
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize purchasing agreements
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or concerns
  • Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders or invoices
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for reducing expenses
  • Prepare cost analysis reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize excess inventory
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring that they align with the organization's interests and legal requirements
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments
  • Admin Management
  • Streamline procurement processes and ensure administrative efficiency by clearing the current backlog
  • To perform other related activities and special projects that are required or assigned
  • Familiarity with the Odoo system will be an advantage

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is an added advantage
  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Administrative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Initiative, proactive, and positive work attitude
