Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and manage Oracle database systems
- Perform database tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning
- Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system bottlenecks
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions based on security policies
- Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Support application teams in database design, queries, and integration
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to database architecture and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory data policies
- Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and project teams on deployment and troubleshooting
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of working experience in a related DBA role
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration preferred
- Solid knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, SQL tuning, and data security
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools is an added advantage
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel / relocation
