Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Forecasting and planning material requirements based on production schedules and demand projections
• Coordinating with procurement and production teams to ensure the timely availability of materials
• Optimising inventory levels to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory
• Analysing and reporting on materials usage, lead times, and inventory status
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance materials planning and scheduling
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align materials planning with broader business objectives
• Receiving, storing, and issuing goods according to established procedures
• Maintaining inventory levels
• Responding promptly to requests for materials and supplies
• Collaborating with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure the smooth running of the store
• Preparing boom list when requested

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a material planning or production planning role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
