Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and implement systems for the efficient transportation and tracking of containers
• Plan and prepare schedules for outgoing containers to ensure timely shipments
• Coordinate with the General Manager (GM) for additional tasks and operational support as required
• Liaise with the Logistics Manager to align plans with daily logistics needs and priorities
• Monitor container availability, shipment status, and optimize transport usage
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all shipping regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipment delays or logistical conflicts
• Maintain up-to-date records and reports on shipment schedules and transport planning

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of container shipping processes and transport systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and logistics software/tools
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Experience in logistics or shipping is an added advantage
