Position: Senior Engineer, Assembly (Male)

• Department: Engineering
• Location: SILC, Gelang Patah
• Basic salary: RM5000 – RM6000
• Work Days: Mon – Friday
• Contract: 6 months (Possibility to convert after 6 months based on performance and management approval)
• The company operates in the manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on plastic engineering and precision component production

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating day-to-day assembly operations to meet the target scheduling provided by Planning
• Responsible for overseeing and identifying that the assembly personnel(s) are trained and operating in a safe manner
• Ensure effective monitoring and proactive scheduled maintenance for the cleanroom to be fit for operation as per CHawk and/or customer specifications and is a safe working environment
• Participate in promoting and executing assembly process improvements
• Ensure departmental documentation is in place for assembly operations
• Manage departmental productivity and efficiencies as per the company's target
• Ensure effective transfer of NP to volume manufacturing for assembly with critical assessment on manufacturability/sustainability resolved with needed departmental SME’s
• Collaborate with engineering on NP assembly part components, assembly build, testing, and packaging
• Collaborate with engineering to develop OMS, WI, Check List, Poke-Yoke, i.e., to modernize BKM’s and continuous improvements
• Participate in assisting Sales with assembly NPI quoting, preparation to win business, and the internal transfer process

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an Assembly environment from a semiconductor contract manufacturing or BTP business model
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design
• Good verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Good analytical, data mining, reporting, and presentation skills
