SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE (CYBERJAYA, SELANGOR)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive to join our team. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and staff claims management, as well as the chance to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.

Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc.)
  • Handle month-end closing activities such as data posting/uploading and timely updates of accounting records, including journal entries for accruals, prepayments, adjustments, staff claims, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
  • Prepare a full set of accounts and monthly financial reports (Local Management Report & Regional Report)
  • Monitor receivable aging and track AR collection
  • Monitor payable aging, reconcile accounts, and prepare vendor payments, including overseas payments (if any)
  • Prepare SST tax returns and assist with corporate tax-related matters
  • Issue invoices accurately and on time
  • Monitor and update the cashbook weekly
  • Liaise with regional staff on account-related queries
  • Coordinate with bankers for loan/borrowing repayments
  • Work closely with operations and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely recording of all operational costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial records are accurate and complete
  • Liaise with internal and external parties (auditors, tax agents, company secretary, etc.)
  • Process supplier payments and staff claims
  • Handle administrative tasks and ad hoc assignments as required by management

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in full set accounting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Fast learner, responsible, eager to learn, and possesses a good working attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Immediate availability is an added advantage
