Position: Test Development Engineer

Department: Production

Location: SILC, Gelang Patah

Basic salary: RM4000 – RM4700

Work Days: Mon – Friday

Contract: 6 months (Possibility to convert after 6 months based on performance and management approval)

Industry: Operates in the manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on plastic engineering and precision component production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design/Develop testing techniques to detect leaks in pneumatic and fluid connections, functional testing for pneumatics, fluids, and electrical components
• Test plan implementation and training
• Test documentation and reporting, maintaining test documentation
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot, and debug deviations
• Regular updates on test coverage, issues, and risks to stakeholders
• Manage the maintenance of the test equipment (calibrations, software/hardware updates, i.e.)
• Interface with the customer on testing requirements and concept designs
• Work with internal teams (Engineering, Assembly, and Quality) to ensure assemblies meet customer specs or at a minimum, design functionality
• One of the sign-offs before shipping the product to customers

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering Degree
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar semiconductor equipment testing environment
• Good English communication skills, verbal and written
• Good Microsoft applications
