Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear and lenses based on prescription and lifestyle
• Advise patients on proper eye care and product usage
• Interpret prescriptions from ophthalmologists/optometrists accurately
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation
• Handle minor repairs and adjustments of eyewear
• Support day-to-day operations of the optical store
• Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
• Educate customers on lens coatings, materials, and frame options

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Opticianry or above (or equivalent qualification)
• Valid registration with the Malaysian Optical Council (or pending)
• Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team
• Able to work weekends and public holidays (with off days scheduled accordingly)
