Job Responsibilities:
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses
- Negotiate and co-ordinate with supplier and cross-functional department for best possible price purchase and delivery time with the quality required for the project
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfil all customer requests
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
- Liaise and build good rapport with suppliers and internal team and other departments (relationship management)
- To liaise with material planner and stores regarding material ordering and delivery plan in order to have material or products continuous supply to meet production demand and reduce unnecessary high inventory to company
- Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping
- Coordinate with store to check stock levels as required and place order as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Maintain database – update and filing all material requisitions, quotations and purchase orders as per company’s SOP

- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or Logistics or equivalent qualification
- Have professional qualification in purchasing
- Have at least 2 to 4 years of working experience in Purchasing
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

Schedule:
- Day shift
