Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, shooting, and editing video content for marketing and promotional purposes.
• Capture high-quality behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, product demonstrations, and event coverage.
• Operate and maintain video equipment, lighting, and audio gear under supervision.
• Collaborate with the content and social media team to create engaging video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Support in setting up scenes, managing lighting conditions, and ensuring sound clarity for all video recordings.
• Organize and archive raw footage and final video assets in a systematic manner.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for video storytelling.
• Ensure all content aligns with Sushi YA’s branding guidelines and visual identity.
• Stay updated on current video trends, especially in short-form content.

Job Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of video production, including shooting and editing.
• Familiarity with video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent).
• Creative eye for visuals, framing, and storytelling.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willing to work at Butterworth.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel if needed.

Job Qualification & Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Degree in Multimedia, Broadcasting, Film, Mass Communication or related field.
• Basic experience in video production through coursework, personal projects or internships.
• Knowledge in social media video formats (especially TikTok and Instagram Reels) is an added advantage.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm office hours)
