Job Summary:

Our client currently looking for Assistant Manager Material. The role is responsible for managing and supporting end-to-end supply chain and purchasing operations. This includes coordinating with suppliers, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, overseeing procurement activities, managing inventory and driving process improvements. The position ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements while supporting departmental objectives

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to General Manager
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain and purchasing operations, including procurement, supplier management and inventory control.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure material availability aligns with business needs.
  • Track, analyze, and report on supply chain and procurement performance metrics (lead time, cost efficiency, delivery accuracy).
  • Drive process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation measures.
  • Lead and support supply chain and purchasing projects, including process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Supervise and guide the supply chain and purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Carry out other duties and assignments as directed by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Educational : At least in Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Mgmt, Logistics, Business Adm or a related field.
  • Experience : At least three (3) years experience in similar capacity/field.

Working Days/Hours:

  • 5 days per week
  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Leave Entitlement:

  • 1st year: 14 days
  • 2nd to 7th year: Increases by 1 day annually
