Requirements
- Min. Qualification – SPM (Fresh grads are welcomed)
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail environments is an advantage.
- Experience in food and beverage service or barista skills is a plus, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and giving correct change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Teamwork with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during shifts.
- Willing to work weekends & selected Public Holidays.
- Able to work in a NON HALAL restaurant, serving pork.
Responsibilities:
Service Crew
- Greet customers warmly and ensure they feel welcome and valued.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverage efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are cleaned and reset promptly.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant, including preparing condiments, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a polite and timely manner.
- Uphold company standards for food safety, hygiene and service quality.
Barista
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, following company recipes.
- Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, including stocking supplies and ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for restocking needs.
- Provided excellent customer service by engaging with customers and offering product recommendations.
Cashier
- Greet customers as they enter and provide a friendly checkout experience.
- Accurately process transactions, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payments.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
- Maintain an organized and clean cashier station, including the cash register and surrounding areas.
- Assist in balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Provide customers with information about our restaurant and menu items.
- Support other front-of-house duties as needed, such as helping with service or barista tasks during busy periods.
Working hours:
- 6 days per week. (Restaurant is closed on every Thursday)
- OT may be required, especially during weekends’ dinner service.
