Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Manager to lead and oversee our factory canteen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient kitchen and service management, uphold food quality and hygiene standards, and deliver timely meals for all factory shifts. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage large-scale food production for corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the factory canteen, including kitchen, service area, and hygiene standards.
- Plan and execute daily/weekly menus that meet client preferences, cost targets, and nutritional standards.
- Manage food costing, budgeting, and inventory control to minimize wastage and optimize expenses.
- Supervise and motivate a team of kitchen staff, servers, and cleaning personnel to ensure smooth operation.
- Ensure timely meal preparation and service across all factory shifts.
- Maintain compliance with Halal, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation, taste, and cleanliness.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports, including meal counts, stock usage, and cost tracking.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of ingredients and materials.
- Handle administrative tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an F&B Manager or in a similar role within factory canteen / institutional catering / large-scale kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage kitchen and service operations for a large number of employees.
- Capable of menu planning, food costing, budgeting,and inventory control.
- Able to ensure time meal preparation and efficient for all factory shifts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team supervision skills.
- Able to work across multiple shifts and ensure efficient meal service for all.
- Have a good skills of Microsoft excel word, and basic admin reporting for canteen operations.
- Preferably with knowledge of Halal certification requirements.
- Strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
