Job Details

POSITION: OPERATOR 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation

• Operate SMT machines such as screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
• Monitor equipment during production to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
• Load components (reels/trays) into feeders and ensure correct setup as per the production schedule.

2. Quality Control

• Inspect PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for quality issues before and after SMT processes.
• Perform manual and visual inspection to identify misalignment, soldering defects, or missing components.
• Report and document any defects or abnormalities found during the process.

3. Maintenance & Setup

• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure proper function.
• Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines when switching to different jobs or products.
• Ensure correct stencil and program are loaded according to the job order.

4. Process Support

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues.
• Support process improvement and 5S (housekeeping) initiatives on the production floor.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of production runs, inspections, and any rework performed.
• Complete daily checklists and production reports as required.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE and ensure the work area is safe and organized.
