JOB DESCRIPTION
Accounting scope and responsibilities:
Sales
- Ensure completeness of sales invoices in the system (monthly)
- Follow up payment with customers especially those due.
- Update payment from the customers to the system.
Purchases and payments
- Request monthly supplier statement for all the major suppliers and check that all supplier invoices are recorded in the system.
- Check all staff claims are supported with proper invoices before submitting to the Singapore office for authorising payment.
- Prepare payment voucher for those suppliers authorised by the Singapore office Bank
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and highlight unreconciled items to the Singapore office.
Reports and Management accounts to be emailed to Singapore office.
- AR & AP report at the end of each month and as and when required.
- Monthly stock closing report.
- Monthly bank reconciliation report.
- Monthly P& L account and Balance Sheet together with the supporting schedules
- List of expense due but are not in the AP system (eg EPF, Sosco, electricity bills etc).
- Year end- prepare and provide all necessary schedules required by the Auditors
