Job Position- Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) 

Job Description

• Responsible to arrange repair / perform maintenance of factory vehicles, machineries and equipment including trailer lorry, mixer trucks, forklifts, shovel, batch plant machines, bar bending machines, vibrator, hand drill & etc.)
• Check the vehicle/ machinery condition by determining whether they function correctly
• Troubleshoot the problem encountered and identify the root cause
• Responsible to discuss with superior / update on difficult and major repair matters
• Responsible to liaise with servicing contractors on maintenance matters
• Responsible to identify, propose and purchase of urgent spare parts and consumables
• Responsible to assist Plant Maintenance Supervisor / Engineer in special assignments instructed

Requirements

• Possess minimum SPMV / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar job function preferably in precast concrete or construction industry
• Good communication, interpersonal and interpretation skills
• Positive attitude and able to work independently
• Possess analytical competencies
