MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (BOILER TECHNICIAN) (SINGAPORE)
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure proper operation of boiler:-
– Daily checking of necessary elements such as feed water, adequate chemical, water hardness, no fuel
leakage, proper valves position and proper instruments functionality.
– Follow proper start-up/shutdown procedure.
– Daily blowdown.
– Emergency procedure are follow accordingly.
- To maintain all boilers, valves, gauges, pumps, pipes (incoming/outgoing pipes before entry to production equipment) and fittings (attach to boiler) in 234 & 210.
- To conduct monthly PM/servicing for boiler with proper recording.
- To coordinate and ensure all boiler repair/service done by others:–
– Ensure all work by others are follow up and follow through (when necessary).
– Ensure all PE/MOM request are follow up and closed.
- To maintain boiler surrounding/compartment.
- To maintain and ensure proper PM/CM/servicing records.
- To maintain daily diesel/water usage record for boiler.
- To ensure proper daily facility/infrastructure operation and also to assist in general technician works when required:-
– Daily checking of building/infrastructure.
– Follow-up on all minor building work (e.g. changing of light tube, simple electrical trouble-shooting, simple
air-con trouble-shooting and etc.).
– Checking and filing of all facility doc (e.g. PM/CM record, service report and job sheet).
- To take on any extra duties or works as and when assign beside boiler duties.
Key Requirements
- Nitec or higher in Engineering field (electrical, mechanical, building services or marine).
- Class 1 certificate in operating boiler.
- Experience in food processing plant and food hygiene requirement.
- Able to work over-time upon requested.
- 3 years working experience with boiler, facility/infrastructure work.
- Keen in learning, team player, self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skill
- Able to work well with technicians team
